I have been traveling to India for the past seven years. I have a basic understanding on the Devanagari alphabet and would like to be able to translate Hindi lectures into English. I would be a beginner in learning Hindi. I want to learn it for career advancement, to communicate with other Indians, and to hang onto my cultural background because I am originally from India.
