My proficiency is intermediate
I want to learn Estonian because my wife is from Estonia and I would like to be able to speak effectively with her family so that we can interact.Lear ning a second language will also help me in my career.
I feel that I am very far from everything as far as the areas that need improvement.
I would like to dedicate at least 2 hours a week with 2 on 1 training and then be able to practice with my wife in between lessons.
I am looking for someone who is honest about themselves and their lessons.I don't want to be pampered with compliments.I f I am paying I want to learn.I am looking for someone who has the patience to work with me.A person who can prepare lessons, homework and training material is ideal to me.I also would appreciate someone who is extremely flexible with their schedule.I have a very tough schedule that can change at any time.I am being upfront and letting the perspective tutor know that I have a demanding career with demanding hours.

I am a beginner in Mandarin Chinese, but have learned some phrases at my favorite Chinese restaurant.
My first interest in Chinese was because of a Chinese-Ameri can friend. Since then, I have several Chinese acquaintances with whom I practice.
I also bought the book, Beginning Chinese (conversation only), with tapes, and have finished 4 lessons, with the help of a tutor, who has quit teaching.
I want to learn conversation rather than reading, and would like to visit China in about one year.
I would like one-on-one lessons with a native Chinese person only. That way I can learn at my own pace and hear only native Chinese, which I prefer.

I'd like private lessons of once or possibly twice a week. I have a Brazilian girlfriend of 4 years and know some but truly want to understand and speak the language.
