I've a huge interest in Korean and Japanese, and I'm tired of always reading the subtitles while watching Korean/Japane se dramas. So I thought -- why not learn the languages! I've absolutely no experience or knowledge of Korean and Japanese, apart from the very, very basic casual conversations . I would love to learn how to read, write, listen and speak Korean and Japanese (all four aspects are essential to mastering a language, in my opinion). I think I just need a teacher whose fee is affordable and is near to my place.

I have been teaching in Korea for almost three years and have tried many times to learn Korean through language exchanges. Language exchanges do not work well and I want a serious teacher. I currently tutor at two orphanages and it is important for me to talk to the children and the people who run the orphanage in Korean.
I have a lot of respect for Korea and feel like I will be able to connect more with people by speaking the language fluently. I will return to America for graduate school and would like to be able to speak to Korean Americans when I return home.
