I am a beginner in learning the beautiful language of Arabic. I am interested in starting out with Moroccan Arabic at this time and will expand to other forms of Arabic in the future. I have purchase a Moroccan Arabic Phrasebook that has in a small why started me in the right path, plus I have someone I know who has been helping me with my learning process. He has been wonderful and I appreciate all he had done. I would like more help from someone else who will help me learn this language possibly a little faster. I know some basic things like omi-mother, bba-father, zawji-husband (f) bendi-daughte r(i think i spelled that correctly)..a nd i know a few other things. I have a book that i take notes in as i learn new things so I don't forget. My main thing is not only learning the words and spelling I would like to learn the pronounciatio n and the calligraphy. I am a beginner and want to become an intermediate level Arabic speaker. I am learning Arabic because my wife and her family are Moroccan, and I want to be able to better communicate with her family. I am looking to dedicate 2-3 hours per week. My preference is to locate a teacher that is offers a mix of both in-person and on-line instruction. Thank you.

One year ago, I married a gentleman from Morroco. Although I still live in Canada, it is our intent to return and live permanently in Morroco.
It is important forme not only to be able to read and write in proper Arabic, but to also learn the Morrocan 'lingo'. I have discovered (having a nephew married to an Egyptian woman) than the spoken dialect can differ greatly.
I would like to spend a significant amount of time learning formost the language character set that I may be able to read and write.
It is important that the teacher has knowledge of the Morrocan spoken dialect.

I have a basic knowledge of Egyptian Arabic and can read Arabic, but my level is pretty basic. As I am moving to Morocco next year I would like to start to learn Moroccan Arabic, both spoken and written.
I would like to take classes at least once a week, preferably three times a week though.

I currently live in Germany and teach English at a language school. (I also speak German). I studied French for 4 years but have virtually no speaking ability. For work purposes I would like to do an intensive French course as well as Arabic. I wanted to go to France for a couple of months to do this but I think its too expensive, I would like to go to Tunisia.
