My proficiency level with the Thai language is at begginner level. I would like to learn the Thai language because I travel to Thailand quite often and also I beleive knowing the language makes you closer to the people.
Th e time I would have would be after work(5:00pm)a bout 3 times a week but I could possibly be a little more flexible.
Looking for a tutor that understands the issues with a foreigner learning the Thai language.

I am interested in learning thai, chinese, posibly korean, as well as tagalog. I used to tutor undergrad levels in biology (human & non), psychology, and psychoanalysi s. I'v had 1 years of italian & spanish, but have not used them for some years, as some languages may relate and any other languages are beginer levels for me.
I plan to teach, at some point in the future, posibly a nursing career. Studies outside the USA may be posible at later dates. I have varrying time limits on studies.

I am an intermediate Thai student. My wife of 20 years is Thai but she does not teach me much. I can read and write at about the second grade level but I need to learn more vocabulary. I am looking for a Thai language teacher close to our home for lessons on weeknights or weekends. We will retire in Thailand in the next 4 years and my goal is to be fluent by then.
