I have learnt Japanese in the past, from when I was in primary till 5th form in high school. I still remember how to write and pronounce but Ive always had a hard time with grammar and reading sentences with both kanji and hiragana together. I also want to learn colloquial Japanese so that when I do visit Japan I would understand them better. I want to feel confident enough to hold up a conversation and use this in advancing towards any career as well. I hope to find a teacher that is out going but adaptable to my shyness and knowledgable in the Japanese culture and history too. Thanks

I want to have some private Mandarin lessons as I have studied it for a long time previously and I don't want to go backwards in my learning.
I speak/listen at about an intermediate level and feel that brushing up on my grammar and fixing up my vocab would be helpful. I want to spend about an hour or two hours a week on my chinese. My teacher must be patient and willing to go at my speed.

Dear future instructor,
I am wanting to advance my conversationa l German during the next two months January 20th- April 15th. I have taken the first half of A1 at the Goethe Institut in Chicago and am working to review this material and expand my vocabulary.
I will be studying photography at die Universitat der Kunste in Berlin this summer and would like to practice talking about my artwork.
Developing an ear for German is something I would like to work on and have had some difficulty with, a teacher who can help me learn to better understand the sounds and improve my pronunciation would be ideal.
I am definitely a beginner but would like to do my best to be able to communicate in German not just English while I am in Berlin.
