1) Beginner: I have never had a tutor before and my only knowledge of Japanese comes from books I have borrowed from the library. In truth, I know little of this language.
2) I wish to learn Japanese because of personal interest. Ever since I was very young I have admired the Japanese and I want to visit (maybe live) in Japan one day.
3) I need improvement in everything.
4) I believe, any amount of time is alright. As long I can be assured to learn a lot and never forget what I learn then I am willing to spend all the time needed.
5) As long as the teacher does not make me doze off the first second he/she starts talking and as long as she/he makes the lessons enjoyable, fun, and unforgetable. I would also appreciate it a lot if I can learn and have tests/convers ations with the teacher.

I would like to learn Japanese and I would also like my 2 year old daughter to learn Japanese. So maybe I would need 2 tutors, or one who works well with Children and adults.
I'm a beginner, I've learned some vocabulary, and greetings, and hiragana, and a few kana.
My daughter, I try to teach her a few words, but I'm not even sure I'm prounouncing them right or saying them fast enough. She's at an age right now where she is soaking up everything around her. She can count 1-8 just from watching an anime where they count 1-8 in Japanese. So I want her to have an actual tutor so that she will be able to speak natively.
I'm looking for a tutor or tutors to come to my home, preferably one. I would like someone who's great with kids. I'm willing to pay travel costs!

I was raised speaking Cantonese until 5 years old. I speak English as my main language. I have four years of high school French language instruction, and one year of Japanese college instruction. I speak conversationa l Cantonese, and basic Korean. I lived in Hong Kong for one year, in Japan for a few months, and in Korea for two years. I learned some Mandarin as a child.

I am looking for instructions in the Japanese language for a high school student who is very interested in learning the language and plans to one day visit Japan. We need someone who is proficient in the language, preferrably one whose native language is Japanese. Begging level Japanese. I started a JPN 101 3 weeks ago, apparently according to friends/teach er I have a nac for the language, however I feel I'm behind. Mainly I want help with conversation, grammer, and vocabulary. I can read/write Hirigana/Kata kana/and about 30 Kanji (learning more still). I catch on fairly quick and things just kind of 'click' after varying times, sometimes instantly othertimes it takes about 2-3 days, but I so far have figured everything out that were required to I just feel that I should be doing more. I have finals in 2 weeks (31st). Then I start JPN 102 on 7/05, so I'm looking to stay, and get as far ahead as I can.
I love the language, so I want to do everything I can to make sure I'm using it right.
