I am looking to have a career working international ly and I want to have a beginner-inte rmediate knowledge of several languages other than french and english. I would one day like to speak french fluently. I pick up languages quickly-I spent six months in Tanzania and was speaking semi-fluent in swahili. I would like to continue with those skills as well however I feel its more important to have fundamentals in a broader language. I have no experience in spanish or mandarin. I am most concerned about conversing in the languages and not as much in written however I would still like a bit of skill that way. I would like to do maybe two hours a week of in class and then study on my own. I am pretty easy going and I learn best through flash cards, repetition and practicing through conversing. Thanks so much!
