I may be moving to Copenhagen for a relationship and so I want to start studying Danish. I am in town from 23-28 Sept 2009 and then again in December but can also study over the Internet using videoconferen cing (free program through ooVoo.com).
I look forward to finding a tutor who can help me work on my Danish speaking. I have Rosetta Stone and that helps with visual recognition but pronunciation is harder since Danish is not a very phonetic language! Lots of special pronunciation s.
For reference, I am a business person (management consulting and executive coaching) and live in Salt Lake City, Utah right now.

It is my intention to arrange a private Chinese tutor for my 6 year old son because I view knowlege of Chinese as an advantage for him in his future.
He will be an absolute beginner so tuition has to be tailored to suit his needs with the aim of providing him with a foundation for continuing his studies towards fluency in written and spoken Chinese.
Ini tially, lessons should take place once a week outside normal school hours.
Teach er should have the ability to engage a young learner whose attention span is limited, so I imagine that motivation will be achieved through 'fun' activities.
The objective of lessons is to impart basic skills in reading, writing and spoken Madarin Chinese.

We are a couple with a a two-year-old daughter having recently moved to Denmark. We have lived in Sweden for the last three years and have basic understanding of Swedish but no prior experience with Danish. Our daughter has recently joined a Danish kindergarten and we are now looking for someone to help her accelerate her understanding of Danish to facilitate her interaction with others.
