I wanted to learn French for career advancement. I had a few sessions in french sponsored by the company I am working with but I would say I am still a beginner. My needs are not just for improvement but to have a working knowledge (a knowledge where I can work in French).
I am available every Sunday. I want a teacher who can assess the needs of his students and not a laid back teacher who will just leave us assignments and working papers to submit and have us study on our own.

I am migrating with my family to Korea and wish to get a head start on the language. I spent 8 years teaching Koreans but have since lost what I learned along the way! I consider myself a beginner although I will catch on quickly. Conversation for survival is my first goal, but of course I expect to learn grammar and pronunciation in the process. I hope to be able to spend at least 2 hours a day with a teacher. I do not insist on a native speaker, however I expect him or her to be proficient in the lessons offered.

I am wanting to volunteer and be more useful in the area of which I live. In addition, I have family and friends here and am wanting to learn to communicate better. I have lived around the world I have found learning the language in the local area goes a long way in getting to know people better. My main area of concern would to be more help at church and helping and being more useful to the community I live.
In addition, knowing the language shows respect to those who are native here, something I very much believe in.

because i stopped studying this semester and i want to have or do something that can help me improve myself such as enrolling or engaging in different learning programs or activities. also, i would like to engage in such learning program to have something to spend time with during the time i will not be attending a regular class. i am a beginner in this kind of studies and i must admit that i don't know anything about the language i want to study. i would like to dedicate all my free time in the said learning program but it would also depend on the availability of the teacher. i am looking for a simple but comprehensive type of lesson and i would like to learn not just the basics but also some complex words or conversationa l phrases.
