I lived in Osaka for one year as a Nova teacher and am planning on going back one day. I only studied Japanese the last three months I was there and really want to continue learning. I only know a limited vocabulary and really no sentences. I can understand a little more than I can speak. I want to also practice reading and writing. I have some text books already that we could use, as well as free conversation. My work schedule is always changing so I need flexible hours. I'd like to meet twice a week and maybe more in the future. I want to hopefully start a small business and teach in Japan.

I am looking to either take a class or have a private teacher to help me learn Japanese. I am definitely a beginner; however, I know some basic conversationa l Japanese, and can recognize a few kanji and most hiragana/kata kana. I woud like to be able to meet at least once a week. I would prefer to have a native speaker of Japanese teach me, but it is not necessary. I am currently 16 (a sophomore in high school); I am very interested in Japanese and languages in general (I'm taking a French class at the moment), and I will work hard to learn everything I can about Japanese!
