I am an English lady looking for an arabic tutor in Bahrain, preferably a native. I have been living in Bahrain for 4 months and would like to have a grasp of the local language both for personal development and to assist in my working life.
I am a beginner and would like lessons twice a week for approximatly 1 hour. one on Wednesday morning and the second either Saturday or sunday early evening.
Initially I want to learn conversationa l arabic with the possibility of progressing to reading / writtern.
I learning is increased by structured lessons in a relaxed environment with a friendly, approachable, patient tutor

I have studied Arabic previously in Cairo and also lived in several Arabic speaking countries. My goal is to get my MSA to an advanced level according to the ACTFL and ILR scales and be able to take one of these tests to verify it. I already speak colloquial Arabic enough to communicate many needs. My current level in MSA is likely low intermediate. A quick and thorough review of the basics would be good enough to jumpstart my progress. I'm a discerning language learner as I have spent the last 12 years teaching ESL/EFL. I'm looking for a teacher and/or program that uses modern methodologies and techniques and is experienced teaching Arabic to Non NAS (not teaching Arabic to Arabs). Ideally the teacher will be well versed in both syntax $ structure and making classes/learn ing engaging.

I think that it is a very useful language to learn.
I am a beginner at learning Arabic and I know very little Arabic at the moment but am very willing and eager to learn.
Coupl e hours a day of class is suitible but i can clear up my schedule to study more.
I want to be fluent/semi-f luent in middle eastern Arabic by next year april or june.
