I am originally from Ukraine, but I now live in the united states.The reason for wanting to learn the language isnt really to learn it but to relearn it.After many years, I have lost it slowly and im just hopeing to re-learn it.When it comes to proficiency level, I think I am moderate, not beginners.The areas I feel I need more improvement in is conversation, vocabulary, and reading. I am willing to do an hour or two for the lessons because of work and school. I am looking for a native speaker preferably, anyone who knows and loves ukrainian.

I can read and write well in Russian, but I struggle to speak as well as I'd like. I am Belrusian and Ukrainian, but born in the United States. I work with and socialize with a lot of Ukrainians and would like to learn my families native tongue. I am very motivated to begin lessons!

My desire to learn Ukrainian is to prepare for an upcoming trip to the country. I am a beginner with very limited Ukrainian vocabulary. As my trip is scheduled for this summer, I would like to spend a couple hours per week in class. I am looking specifically for Ukrainian lessons, not Russian.
