I want to learn sign language for personal reasons and to use in my business, I am a Realtor. I have done all the signing time videos from the library and know about 50 words. I would like to spend a day each week at a class then study in between. I would like a teacher that is patient :-)

My mother age 70, is almost deaf. She has had significant hearing loss in last two years. We bought new hearing aids two days ago and it barely helps. The aids are unitron latitude BTE's. My family would like to learn sign language as a part of our communication with mom. It is frustrating for both mom and people who try to communicate with her, because even with aids, she has a very very hard time understanding . She feels out of the conversation and I approached her and my family about signing. My mom lives in the same house as my sister, husband and I. We would love to have someone teach us sign language.
