I've been working in Nijmegen for the past 2 1/2 years and they are asking me to stay longer and requesting that I improve my Dutch. I was fluent in German many years ago so I can read some Dutch, understand some but speak almost nothing. I need to get to a conversation level proficiency. Since they are willing to reimburse me the expense of the lessons, we can plan to do this for a long time.

Good afternoon, I want to learn Dutch language for everyday life and communication with my Dutch partner. Also, for future career that might be connected to Holland. I have been to Netherlands twice and know how the language sounds and already heard from Dutch people that it is not simple to learn and especially to pronounce, but I am ready for a challenge :) I would like to be able to speak fluently and make conversation, write, know grammar, read and to make jokes and understand them :) The ideal quantity of the lessons per week for me would be 2 or 3 lessons. The qualities I am looking for in my future teacher are dedication to what he or she does, stability and flexibility at the same time. it is important that my teacher is just a nice person :) Thank you!
