I have attended a Swahili beginners evening class in 2006. Spent time in Tanzania in late 2006 and then returned in 2007 and lived there with a local family for 4months. I have quite a lot of vocab, but pronounciatio n needs a lot of work and sentence structure and verb agreement etc.
I am wanting to earn Swahili for career advancement and as I intend to return to conduct some research.
I need to improve my conversation, pronounciatio n and grammar. My reading and writing is poor but I would prefer to work on conversation first.
I am looking to dedicate a few hours a week at the minute.

Because both personal and professional interest I would like to learn Portuguese. I already speak some Spanish and fluent French and studied Latin so the system of Portuguese might easily understandabl e for me.
I am an absolute beginner and aim for African Portuguese like in Mozambique and Angola.
Language lessons frequency: 1-2 a week with written homework.

I am English and married to a Kenyan and i would like to improve my swahilli. I am a beginner and i know words and some phrases but i don't know how to put sentences together. I would like either one to one lessons, or group lessons with a teacher in Bournemouth. I would like a patient teacher who has taught students before.
