I would say that I am in between beginner and intermediate. I am the only person in my family from my mother's side that does not speak Spanish. I NEED to learn it. It would be great for family purposes in addition to business purposes. I have a good fundamental grasp already. I simply need basic tutoring and consistent conversation. I am willing to dedicate 3-5 days a week at 1-2 hours a session for as long as it takes. Ideally, the instructor will know exactly how to instruct based on my needs and currentl level of proficiency.

I'm just a beginner. I'm wanting to learn about 7 languages. German, Greek, Finnish, Russian, Japanese, Swedish, and Spanish. I'm pretty dectated when I put my mind to it. I have had 3 years experience of spanish in high school and the german I do know is from my music. As for the other languages I'm completely clueless..

I am a complete Mandarin beginner, although I can read some of the characters because I can read Japanese. I have always wanted to learn Chinese just for the love of the language, and each area needs improvement: grammar, pronunciation , reading, writing. The language lessons can be an hour or an hour and a half. I am hoping that my teacher can not only help me in person but can also tell me good sources--such as cassette tapes--I can use to practice on my own. I live in the DC area but will only be here for about five more weeks. However, I will certainly work hard those five weeks and then continue after I move. Thanks very much.

I'm a beginner who wants to learn Spanish for personal developlent more than and professional, although it can definitely broaden my client base professionall y.
