I have never studied Swahili and would like to begin learning now, because languages are easier to pick up when you are young. I am planning to study in Kenya in a few years and would like to arrive with a sufficient grasp of the language. I would say 4 hours at least a week.

My sister and I have begun to learn the Italian language. She is married to a man who was born in Italy and speaks fluent Italian. She wants her children to also learn their heritage and has signed them up for lessons. To keep pace with them, she would like to become fluent. I have always been fascinated with foreign languages and Italian is one I would like to learn. Also, I know it is easier to learn a language if you have someone to practice with. With both of us learning, we can help eachother learn faster. I have learned some basic vocabulary, but have no experience with grammar or conversation. Jackie has learned through exposure to her husbands family, but also needs help with her grammar and conversation. We would like to work with a tutor at least 2 days per week to learning Italian with a tutor. We are looking for a instructor who would not mind guiding us as we learn Italian. Also, someone who can chat with us, preferably in Italian as we become more accomplished.
