I'm a sometime student of Indology at the University of Copenhagen. I've been taking sanskrit lessons on and off for a number of years, but still consider myself to be an intermediate at best.
To finally finish my university degree, I'm currently looking for a personal teacher in India to help me prepare for my exams back in Denmark. I believe that studying the language in India will be more immediately inspiring and rewarding for me than staying at home with my nose buried in the old Monier-Willia ms dictionary.
The exams that I'm preparing for includes pre-selected passages from the rigveda, the epics, the puranas and the grammar of panini. Focus should be on reading, translation, and grammatical explanation.
I plan to be in India from september 2009 to January 2010. The exact location depends very much on where I can find a good teacher.
