I am looking to learn Mandarin Chinese for personal advancement & to hopefully widen my future prospects.
Proficien cy level: advanced beginner
Les son length: up to 2 hours per lesson.
My native tongue is English, but my second language is Cantonese. Thus my first priority would be speaking, coming from a Cantonese household - this has played some issues with previous learning experience. Other priorities would be reading & writing/typin g.
I've had previous experience learning Mandarin with traditional teacher centred learning styles, which focused on textbook based learning. But I have found I do struggle with this method. I'm looking for a approachable teacher who is able to teach in an interactive & engaging manner.

Hi there,
My partner and I will be moving to Vietnam around August (2016) and would like to be able to converse with the locals.
We have spent a couple of weeks in HCMC so have basic knowledge such as hello and thank you.
We will be back in Perth (currently in Vietnam) from the end of May, so would like to start straight away.
