I am in the beginning stages of learning Tagalog.I took a 3 month beginners course in Manila last April 2006.I am a missionary to the Philippines and I want to be used of the LORD more by speaking the national language there.I need improvement on grammer and conversation. I want to dedicate to 5 to 6 hours a day to learning Tagalog.I am looking a teacher that is patient and has a willing spirit to help me speak Tagaolg.

I only know a few words of Tagalog at this point, so I am a beginner. I need to learn Tagalog because my husband is Filipino and we have 2 young children. I want our children to know their Father's native language, and since I am home with them all day, I need to know it to teach it to them. I can dedicate an hour to two a day to learning Tagalog. I have tried to enroll in the Tagalog class at Palomar College, but it is always filled before my appointment time.

Hello how are you well my name is Monique and I want my two children to learn to speak Tagalog I feel it is very important for them to know how to speak more then one language especially living in the United States, it will help them to expand and appreciate other cultures besides our own. And I feel that now is a good time since they are still young and their brains can still absorb so much right now. My daughter is 8 but she will be 9 next month and my son is 12. I am very serious about their learning experience and feel that education is so very very important for their futures.
