Hello, I am a senior student in secondary school, and I plan to go to Japan for college in the next five to six years. I have been teaching myself Japanese for seven years, but I still feel that I am a beginner. I want to learn this language because I like to draw anime, write stories, read manga, and I am overall interested in the culture. I also am considering teaching English in Japan someday, as well as dealing in foreign communication s.
I feel I need particular improvement in understanding grammar, as well as conversationa l Japanese. I would like to continuously learn Japanese for as long as it takes for me to get a good handle on the language and understanding it.
As for the lessons, I would like them to be interesting. I am not too picky about this because any way I can learn Japanese is good for me since I've been looking for tutors for a long time.

I am wanting to learn Korean, so at this time I am a beginner. I am wanting to learn Korean for personal reason, and I would really like to learn how to read, write and of course speak. I studied Mandarin in Monterey, CA for about a year and a half, in an intense course. I, unfortunately , haven't spoken, read, listened to, or thought in Chinese for over a year. My vocabulary skills have seriously depleted in that time, and I am sure my pronunciation is also suffering. I am looking to gain back my valuable skill in a quick and efficient manner, for my current job and any possible future career opportunities .

I am a beginning student with 1 year of French classes. However, during that year I spent 3 months in Paris. I also have a background in Latin.
I am learning French because I want to begin learning languages beside my native English. I particularly want to focus on conversationa l skills at this point- I am extremely uncomfortable with spoken French right now.

I am interested in having my children increase their Spanish proficiency. My husband (a native Spanish speaker) has taught them basic vocabulary, and he uses Spanish with them occasionally at home, but we are looking for lessons to improve their fluency. My son is 7 years old and my daughter is 5 years old. They are quick learners and very well behaved. Ideally, we would like to find someone to come to our home once a week for a 45 lesson. We can come to you, too, if necessary.
