The intent of this ad is to have a qualified French teacher spend 2-3 hours/weekday with my daughter while we are spending 5 weeks in Provence, this summer. The lessons should concentrate on grammar,vocab ulary/writing and reading comprehension . My daughter is currently a freshmen in college and has already taken several college level French courses. Most important is to refine her grammar and writing skills. A college professor would be ideal.

I really enjoy french. I am even thinking of getting a degree in french. I work with Computers. Server support at the moment.

I really need help with conversation. I have studied for a while with Alliance Francais, SMU French Course, Richland French Course, Online via Carnegie Mellon University Open Learning courses. I really need one to one dedicated work with conversation skills.
Ho w much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons.
2 hours per week face to face. Plus homework and study at home.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher?

I am a beginner, though I do have some learning experience - a long time ago. I would like to learn French to satisfy academic requirements for literature programs I am considering applying to, as well for my own personal growth. I can dedicate 20+ hours per week to my studies. I enjoy French films, food and music. I hope to find a teacher that enjoys teaching and will readily recommend media and other cultural activities I can realize to become better acquainted with the French language and culture.

I am looking to be fluent in another language aside from English. I love to travel and a lot of the people in my inner circle speak French. I also am pursuing a career in International social work and picking up on a second language would be quite beneficial. I have taken French many many years ago but it appears that i have forgotten a lot of it if not most of it.
