I have been teaching myself Finnish for quite some time, however, I have come to the conclusion that I need a proper class to be able to master the language. During my multiple trips to Finland, I have been told that my Finnish is suprisingly very good ''for a jenkki.''
I am capable of continuing a coversation speaking only Finnish, but only if the other person is speaking English. Understanding the language is my biggest weak point, mostly due to the multiple ways of putting together a single statment. Speaking and writing Finnish are my stronger areas, However, I would like to begin the course as a begginer.
I am located in Ocala, but I am willing to travel within a reasonable distance to attend a Finnish language class. I am highly motivated and will most likely be able to start right away. I am willing to work in a class room environment with others, or a private tutor.

Very much a beginner with Korean, but lots of foreign language experience. I speak fluent Spanish, decent Chinese. Read French and Portuguese. Just back from a short trip to Seoul and Busan. Work as an analyst for the U.S. Maritime Administratio n. Motivation is work-related. My desire is to find a native speaker who has a proven teaching method. One-on-one.

I traveled to Thailand this summer and spent 3 weeks at as a volunteer at an elephant rescue. I loved the family I was with, but was severly limited in interaction due to not knowing the language. I plan on returning every 1-2 years and want to be able to speak with them in their native language.
I am definitely a beginner, and would like to understand the structure/gra mmar of the language. I prefer one-on-one tutoring.

I want to learn assyrian because i am half assyrian and African American, my mother didnt teach my sister and i so therefore we never learned it. i am a beginner. i do understand my mom a little when she speaks but i would to learn to speak and communicate with my family members better. i need help with everything, grammer, vocab, alphetbet, and conversation. ive recently order a modern assyrican language book that should be coming in. i want to put alot of time in learning, but i do have school and work, so maybe and hour or two would be good three days out of the week. i am looking for a fun and patient teacher that is willing to take time with me and help the best and fast way possible.

Well hello to whoever is looking onto my profile. I thought a nice introduction would be nice before I describe why I am here.
Well , I am known as Christina but I rather be called Chrissy. I am 20 years of age, a college student of Yuba Community College of Clear lake. I'm a mother of my daughter. And I am a W.C Carle' High School 2012 graduate.
To answer the description;
-I am learning the languages that I have listed is because I have been interested in them for years. It is hard to learn ANY languages where I live because they only languages they teach is English and Spanish. I mean, I know how to speak one hundred percent English and I know I can learn spanish anytime.
-With all the languages I posted I am a beginner.
-P ersonally, I need to improve in ALL the ones that I have listed.
-Wel l, I do have a hard time a little to learn fast. I need the time to be able to get it. But I am not a slow learner either. I just need enough time to be able to understand the information that I am given.
-I am looking for someone who will not try to be disrespectful , try to be too rush with me, who is willing to take the time to teach me, and who actually wants to teach.
-Also , I am NOT going to pay right now. I do not have the money to pay people. Later on when I do this as a teacher, after when I learn the languages, I will not let the students pay.
