I am a beginner. I am going to Brazil as an exchange student, but first I must put in 15 to 20 hours in learning the language, and I need a Mentor. If I need to travel at great lenght I would rather get as many hours in during each lesson or Class at once. I am an intermediate spanish speaker and went to brazil for a month so i learned how to adapt a bit but would still consifer myself a beginner. I want to learn portuguese because I loved Brasil and plan to return. My conversationa l skills need improvement more so than anything else. I am currently job searching and assume i will get a mon-fri 9-5 job so i would preger night and weekend lessons about 4 hours a week maybe? I would like a teacher that can make learning fun yet give me homework. its always helpful to have cds and stuff too so if they have worksheets, cds, etc that would be good.

I am a beginner. My boyfriend's family speaks portuguese. We have been together for 7 years and I feel left out in many conversations because I do not understand the language. I would also like to be able to teach it to the children we plan to have some day.
I would like to dedicate several hours a week, as well as any independent work if I receive lessons via email. I am hoping to have a teacher that can teach me the basics so that I may be involved in conversations .
