I want to learn Farsi as a language requirement for a PhD program in English Literature -- it requires two languages, one is Urdu (my native tongue) and the second, Farsi, which I need to learn well enough to read any text with some level of proficiency. I am certainly considered to be at the beginner level. I have moderate fluency in Spanish and I am currently working on increasing my ability in that languge. I desire to learn Urdu for career advancement. I currently have one semester left of undergraduate studies, but I am looking for ways to begin my study in Urdu. After completing my undergraduate studies or even during short breaks between sememsters, I have aspirations to study abroad to complete my fluency in both Spanish and Urdu.

Hello,
I am a beginner. I have some knowledge of saying from learning while I was in Myanmar.
I am seeking a person or persons versed in the Burmese language. I am open to private or study classes. I am wishing to extend my knowledge with this language. I have many friends there in Myanmar. I am ready to learn: letters and numbers, vocabulary and sentence structure. Please feel free to contact me. I am a morning person most of the time. I will however move time around to suit your particular needs. I have hope to devote atleast 10 hours a week toward advancing.

I would like to find a teacher to teach my four year old child Amharic. My father is from Ethiopia but I do not speak the language. I have always regretted not learning and would like my daughter to learn to speak, read and write Amharic so she can communicate with family members here and in Ethiopia. My daughtetr would be a beginner of course. I would like to dedicate this summer possibly continuing into the fall for lessons. I would like a teacher whose native tongue is Amharic and has experience working with children. I would like the lessons to be fun and age appropiate for my child.
