I would consider myself a complete beginner. My boyfriend is Brazilian and I have spent 2 1/2 months on Brazil where I picked up a very basic few words. I would like to learn Portuguese so I can spend time in Brazil, communicate with my boyfriend's family and possibly get a job there.
Ideal ly I need a Brazilian tutor and am looking to have 1-2 private 1-1 lessons a week.

I have never taken Portuguese lessons before, but I think I can learn it very fast. I just started to learn it by myself, trying to speak it with penpals and I can pretty much understand and make myself understand. I just need more structure.
I speak already French, English and Spanish. Portuguese will be my fourth or fifth language as I am learning German as well.
My friend in Brazil is getting married this december. Id like learning a relatively good portuguese before going to his wedding.
I need a teacher that knows well there language and that has a good methodology.

My husband and I are interested in learning Brazilian Portuguese. We are both beginners and have recently travelled to Brazil and are interested in returing on a regular basis. We are both shift workers and therefore have very flexible schedules. Our goal is to be able to have basic conversation skills. We are looking for an outgoing teacher and fun learning environment and are interested in beginning as soon as possible.
