My interest for Korean language has been burning ever since I watched my very first Korean drama,'Goong' . Ever since then,I've been very fond of the language and tried to pick up some words. At the same time,I'm working in a clinic with international patients but very few are Koreans,so I would like to help boost my clinic's leads in korean patients. I would like to learn Hangul & Hangugo, for several reasons. Firstly, I am dating a Korean lady & wish to be able to communicate with her in Korean as well as in English. Having visited Seoul, flown on Korean Air & also made a few Korean friends, I am even more inspired to learn Korean. I have grown deep care & passion for both ROK & DPRK & I also think that I may like to visit Korea more and maybe even live & work or study there. Oh, and I love listening to Korean music but would like even more to understand songs!
I am at basic level, through iPhone apps I have learnt a few basic words & greetings but nothing more.
The time I would like to dedicate to lessons is 1-2 nights per week and am open to timescale suggestions. I work Tuesday to Saturday until 5.30pm & this is 1 hour from Central. I must be careful with cost though, since I work in Hong Kong for a charity, full-time with no salary.
