I am half Ethiopian but was raised in America so I do not speak Amharic. I just moved to Addis Ababa to learn the language. I only know very basic words/phrases . I am a beginner. I need to work on grammar while building my vocabulary. While I have time, I would like to work on intensively on learning the language. I am flexible and would be like to spend 2-6 hours a week, depending on the cost. I am looking for a teacher that is flexible and dynamic in their teaching techniques. Also someone who will work with me on my pronunciation .

I am taking beginners Chinese and have been studying it for 4 months so far. I am very interested in Chinese language, culture, history, food and calligraphy. I am an absolute beginner student of the Korean language. I have been mostly studying by watching YouTube videos and other online resources. I have taught myself some basic phrases and Hangul but that's about it. I could use some structure and help with pronunciation , basic grammar, and vocabulary. Practice with basic conversations .
I'm looking for a teacher that will work with me at my speed: some things I can get quite quickly and some things take some patience. I realize that learning a language isn't an exercise in immediate gratification and that much practice is needed is I'm going to achieve a degree of utility in the language. Right now I'm willing to dedicate an hour a day to studying but that may vary over time as my schedule flexes.
