I am at a beginner level. I have a book and CD and have learn several verbs, a few dozen vocabulary words and about pronunciation and spelling etc.
I just moved to Amsterdam for work and really want to learn the language as the job is editing dutch TV and films, so id really like to understand it so i can edit here.
I would probably do 2 slots a week for 1-2 hours. Im not sure, it would depend upon costs.
