To Whom it May Concern:
I am very interested in obtaining an instructor to teach me the Icelandic language. I am a very commited to learning this language as my mother is from Iceland, and I have numerous family members that still live in Iceland.
The reason I am not having my mother teach me the language is I would like to learn to speak Icelandic and give that to my mother as a present. I would like her to be proud that I hold so her language sodear to my heart, and proud of my heritage.
I am very commited and willing to do the best I can to make teaching as easy as possible. My availability is flexible as learning and working with an instructor is important to me.
I currently only know the alphabet and a few phrases. I look forward to this opportunity.
