I am learning Russian as a major component of my Bachelor's degree and future career ambitions. I hope and plan to work in some capacity in Russia, connected with Russia as well as the Far East in the next 5 years.
My proficiency level is intermediate, with my strength being in conversationa l Russian. I am severely lacking in a formal style of speaking and need help with grammar and building my active and passive vocabulary around speaking confidently about concepts in business, government, the legal world.
I am willing to devote with my tutor 1 hour per day, up to 3 days per week to reach my goals, I currently study at a university, so some of my questions and lesson direction may be influenced by what I am trying to master in class.
I am looking for a firm but patient teacher, hopefully someone who is familiar with teaching foreigners, but someone who is willing to help the learning process without the aid of English.

I travel to the Ukraine about 3 times a year and would love to visit Russia as well. My Great grandfather immigrated from Russia and the last relative in our family that spoke Russian was my grandfather. I am very interested in learning conversationa l Russian.

Hi. I am at beginner level. I take 1 hour of Russian lessons every week but I want to have additional, short conversations for 3 times every week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for 20 minutes each time at pre-agreed times.
I know about 1,000 Russian words, but my grammar is not good. I have taken about 120 hours of Russian lessons over the last two years, so I have a basic knowledge. I will be continuing with 1 hour of lessons every week, but I just want to speak for 20 minutes a few times a week for practice. I would be interested in speaking about current affairs, life in your city, etc. The main thing is to get practice.
I want fluent english speaker who is native Russian speaker, who is quite flexible. We will agree times of calls at the beginning of the commission.
For 3 conversations of 20 minutes each time how much EURO would you charge? ALso, how would payment be made. Paypal? Bank transfer?

I am very interested in learning a foreign language. Unfortunately I can only speak English, so that would make me a complete novice in any other language... I would give 2-3 hours every day, but I don't know where to start. I'd like to learn a foreign language above all so I can:
1. Better understand my native language. I read learning a foreign language will benefit your understanding of written communication a lot more because you have basis for comparison, which a lot of people may take for granted, ie, grammar, punctuation, preposition, etc.
2. Break my monolingualis m, making me more interesting and give me the opportunity to chat with two of my Russian colleagues in their mothertongue for a change.
3. Russian is supposedly one of the hardest languages to learn and I like a challenge. Also, it would be fun getting to grips with those Russian hyroglyphics; I don't know what they mean...
Th e qualities i'd be looking for in lessons with my teacher would be: Punctuality.. I'm more than willing to work hard for this and would not leave last minute if a lesson in booked, i'd like the same return.
