I am a complete beginner at hindi who would dearly like to learn.
Havin g visted india several times and having plans to return there again, I would love to be able to really get involved more in the culture and with the people and would like to learn hindi in order that I can do so.
I would like to learn in the evenings as I work full time, and I can set aside two hours per week for doing so, this would include learning to write the language as well as learn the grammer etc, so that I can become fully proficient if possible - i have tried learning from books, but feel learning from a tutor would be much more beneficial.
i hope that someone can help - there do not seem to be any adult classes in my area.

My name is Willy Valentin. Im puerto rican and learned both english and spanish. I want to learn hindi because my father married a Hindustani women. I find the language interesting. I love to see the Bollywood movie. I want to be able to see the movies without any subtitles. Im a beginner in this language. I also want to convert to hindu. I already did the prayers of pooja with the family. I want to be able to understand more. I will decide all the time i have. Im currently a student in monroe college, and if it is possible to work around my school schedule it would be great. I feel i need to improve in all grammar and coversation. The qualities I look for in my teacher is that she be able to explain everything cleary, also if i need extra time she would be able to provide that for me. I want this to be a great experiance and help me to achieve more in life. Im also planning a vacation to India, and i want my language to improve by then.
