I am a beginner and I want to learn portuguese because I'm visiting my friend in Brazil in July 2007 and I would like to be able to communicate with her family and friends that cannot speak english very well.
I would like to focus mostly on the oral aspect of the language as I'll only be conversing with people in Brazil and won't really need an in depth lesson on writing/readi ng comprehension .
I have a flexible schedule and would like to gain as much knowledge as possible in the next 6 months.
