I am looking for a private tutor for Italian conversation. I lived in Italy four years ago, and now need to practice language abilities and build upon what I already know for upcoming buiness trips. I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and proficient in Italian, but need to practice speaking and clean up my grammar. I am looking to practice at least 2 hours a week, preferably the mornings.

I have a very basic proficiency in the French language. My roots stem from a High School language class, were I studied French to the highest level available We spent time reviewing the culture, writing, and the history of the French Revolution. Although to my disappointmen t, not enough time was spent learning how to speak the language. I have always wanted to speak French fluently. Upon my graduation, my goal is to use my Marketing degree (minor in Global business) and obtain a job where I can best utilize my abilities. I am serious about obtaining this goal and researching many avenues to make it possible. Even though I am familiar with the country and language; I wish to review and have conversation ability. I'm willing to invest as much time as possible to obtain my goal. I do have a full time job and family. However, I am serious about my goals and very determined to achieve them. I wish to have a professor that is willing to work with my full-time job. All arrangements will be made so that my family/person al life does not conflict with my lessons. And time will always be allocated for my lessons and whatever else is necessary to accomplish this goal. I have learned early in life, 'that you make time for things that are important.' I plan to incorporate my studies in my daily life. This will not only enhance my career, but will enrich my child’s education. We will all benefit from this period of study.

This is a request from a public high school in search of an Arabic Language consultant. We would like to introduce Arabic Studies - both language and culture - to high school students as an elective yet we must educate our social studies and world language department teachers first.
Tim ing of need: beginning in September 2004; ending when consultant and department head decide task is accomplished.
Barre is 30 miles north of Worcester.
