I took Class Elemetary A in Alliance Francais, an elementary learner, still not able to carry a daily conversation.
I'm working in a French movie production company. English is our working language. I learn French firstly because I love this language, and love French films, also is trying to look for working opportunities in France in the future. Therefore, all areas are important for me to learn.
Because my working hours are unstable, often need to work in weekends as well, so I'm not able to continue my course in Alliance. I wish to learn with a private tutor, once or twice per week, 4 hours in total per week, and resume for at least one year.
Since I'm still a beginner, I'm looking for a professional tutor who can teach me French in English, has systematic teaching methods, can also introduce the French culture during the course, and will be available for at least half a year.

I am a native Chinese living in the US, so I am bilingual in Mandarin and English. I've always wanted to take French as a third language. I've taking some beginner lessons a few years ago, but didn't keep up with it after I visited France.
I have two daughters (also bilingual) - a two-year old and a seven-year old. I'd like to introduce French to them as well.
I will be in Beijing in July and August 2008 and I'd like to use take advantage of the summer vacation time to take lessons with my daughters. I'd like to have a teacher that has the experience and flexibility teaching the three of us (or my older daughter and myself) as a group and know how to handle the mother-child dynamic.
