I am a beginner but have picked up a little Italian from friends.
I am learning Italian to better communicate with my boyfriend's family. Unfortunately , they speak dialect (of Val di Non) amoungst themselves which has made it difficult to learn Italian from them. Also, in my field of work (internationa l law) it would be helpful to have a second language.
I need help with everything - grammar, vocabulary, conversation.
I will be in Italy for three months starting on August 21, 2006 and would like to dedicate several hours per day to studying Italian.
I am looking for a teacher in the Trento area. It would be nice to have someone with some teaching experience but it is not necessary.

I have just finished my first year at Nottingham Trent University of an Accelerated Italian degree course. I own a house near to Pescara in Italy. I would ideally like 2-3 hrs per day in conversation and grammar at the end of September for approximately 2 weeks before I return back to University in October.

Studio Italiano da otto anni, negli universita a New York per sei anni e poi alla Scuola Italiana del Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York, per la conversazione con il professore e cerca sei altri studenti. Ho studiato all'Universit a per Stranieri di Perugia per il mese di Settembre 2005, e ho frequentato molte lezioni durante ogni settimana, forse venti cinque ore alla settimana. In questa universita, ho avuto dare un exame prima di l'inizio di frequentare le lezioni, e ho preso il quattro miglior voto nell'esame (Ci sono un totale di sei voti). Arrivero a Roma il 29 di Agosto e partiro da Roma il 4 di ottobre e vorrie studiare durante le matine per 2 ore,da lunedi a giovedi o venerdi, con un insegnante per la conversazione e qualche tempo nel suo ufficio per imparare certo cose che il professore determina che ne ho bisogno. Studio l'italiano perche i miei genitori sono nati in Italia e ora che sono in pensionata, vorrei imparare la linqua e la cultura di Italia - vorrei imparare di miei radici, perche sebbene io sia americana, sento di piu che sono italiana. Voglio incontrare la gente italiana e parlare con loro. Le qualita del professore di quello cerco sono intelligente, amichevole, qualcuno che dara l'attenzione delle mie bisogni e i ciampi in cui ho bisogno di aiutare, qualcuno che vorrie fare le passagiatta in Roma e di avere conversazione con me. Due anni fa, ho avuto un insegnate privato per un mese in Firenze che ha insistato che ho seguito le sue lezioni che da tutti i sui studenti, sebbene io sappia molti degli campi che presentava - Non voglio quello! Oltre passare due ore con il professore ogni giorno, sono preparato di passare uno o due ore per giorno studiare l'italiano quando sono a Roma.

i am recently living here in italy,married to an italian for about 13yrs ang have a 12 yr old son which is now studying french language, and most of the people here understands french more easily than english as a second language,that s why i decided to try to start some french lessons and hopefully to improve my italian grammar,conve rsation..etc. Although i've been here for a long time but still my husband always correct my italian grammar.
