I have recently begun studying Mandarin Chinese for the purpose of career advancement. I am interested in general knowledge and proficiency about the language, as well as focusing from more of a business-orie nted perspective.
I am a fresh beginner to the study of Chinese.
I am able to dedicate about 3-4 hours per week (2-3 lessons) at this time.
I am looking for a teacher who is very professional and organized, as well as flexible.

I want to become fluent in Chinese and take second or third year Chinese next fall. I will be studying it intensively until this summer when I plan to take courses or have a tutor in to meet with all summer for about 20 hours a week (about three months). I will not go to Orlando if I do not find a good, affordable tutor. I'm willing to spend about $4000 for the three months and would be able to pay it all up front. I would like to meet with the tutor in the Orlando public library, but the location is negotiable. The price may be negotiable too, depending.

I have studied Mandarin for a while by myself. I lived and taught Engish in Wuhan for about a year and a half, but didn't learn much. The students wanted me to speak English. I have gotten about as far as I can on my own and now need help. I use LingQ.com as my main source of lessons. Thanks.
