I am an Intermediate italian student. I need constant coversation which is difficult in Minneapolis, and need special help withconversat ional comprehension .
I live in Minneapolis, but travel for work quite often, not to mention travel to Italy. But when I am here, I'd like to be taking lessons.
For a teacher, the best for me is, naturally, a native-tongue speaker, but also one who speaks things italian:

Well I always wanted to learn a foreign language throughout my entire life but the main problem was which language to choose. I ruled out french because it was a huge disaster for me and so I have always wanted to learn a 3rd language. So Italian is my choice. I do not know anything in Italian, I'll be learning from scratch. Well I would like to do 2 times a week. I'm looking for a teacher who has the ability to make the complicated things very simple, furthermore he must be fluent or else I'll be adopting fake accents and lastly he needs to be a bit patient with me since I'm starting from the very beginning.

I want to learn Italian, as I'm travelling there later this year and want to be able to converse, even simply, with locals.
I work in Auckland CBD, so would be interested in local classes. I would like to spend approx. 2 hours per week on lessons.

I studied in an intensive Italian course while in college, about 12 years ago, and have taken one or two refresher courses since. Now I would like to obtain fluency in preparation for spending time there. I'm sure my vocabulary could use the most help at this point, and because I work full-time require a flexible teacher who enjoys working at a fast pace.
