Hi there,
I would like to learn Cantonese as I am Chinese but born in New Zealand.
My father moved to New Zealand from Hong Kong when he was young, and my mother was born here, so I feel it is disrespectful if I don't learn Cantonese. I would also love to work in Hong Kong one day, hopefully when i graduate from university (in 2-3 years time).
I am at beginner level and can't say much at all haha. I would like to be able to hold down a conversation, and improve in all areas generally.
As I am a full time student at the moment, I am willing to dedicate a lot of time to this as I have quite flexible hours and am very hungry to learn.
Qua lities in a teacher that I would be looking for would be just a friendly, easy-to-talk- to person.

Firstly the reason why i want to learn french is beacause i have studied french for a while and i love to learn more about the language. I am considering France as one of my options for future education and i would like to be able to have a conversation or just to be able to communicate with the people of the country. I would feel that i am at an Intermediate level with the language but of course there is still alot of room for improvements. i think that i would need improvement in every part of the language wether it is grammar or just everything. I am willing to dedicate my time and efforts to learning the language up untill i am able to fluently understand the language. I am not choosy with my lessons nor my teachers but i am looking for a teachers that can dedicate as much time as they can to the lessons and whatever they offer i will accept with grattitude...

After several years in Singapore I have come back to spend time with my family. I am hoping to head off again to China at some stage in the next several years and would like to find a tutor to help me build on my conversationa l mandarin.
I have lots of resources but am lacking in direction and speaking skills.
