I am interested in learning Portugese for leisure, and because I love the Brazilian culture a lot, and may visit it one day. Hello. My name is Robyn. I will be arriving in Brasilia on August 30th to do a 7 month work placement. I have no knowledge of Portuguese and need to learn the language fast in order to do my work. I do have a strong level of spanish, and feel this will help me learn the language quickly. Ideally I would like to take intensive private lessons (3 hours each day) for the first 3-4 weeks (for the month of September, 2006) I am looking for a private tutor. It would be helpful if the tutor spoke some English or Spanish, as I have no knowledge of Portuguese. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you very much.
