Hi,
I am looking for Lessons in Portuguese, more specifically Brazilian Portuguese, as I hope to head to Brazil in the future. I haven't studied Portuguese before so I am a beginner, though I do speak some Spanish and I believe the two langauges are a little bit similar.
I would be looking for two, perhaps three lessons a week - in person and I would like to work more on Spoken (Conversation al) Portuguese as I would be needing it for travelling.

I am looking for a teacher of Portuguese on 1-to-1 basis principally to improve fluency. (Iberian Portuguese or Brazilian, doesn't matter to me: maximum 20 euros an hour) I have a basic level (3 months of self study), but a minimal spoken level. However, I speak French, Spanish and Catalan (i.e. other romance languages) and understand pretty well (i have cable TV in portuguese at home). I want to learn in order to go and work in Portugal late autumn 2006 / january 2007. NOTE: PRIORITY IS SPOKEN PORTUGUESE - SURVIVAL LANGUAGE CLASSES RATHER THAN FORMAL GRAMMAR!! I could offer as an alternative English lessons in exchange for Portuguese if anyone is interested.
