Hello,
I am a total beginner, but would love to learn Hindi. I work 6 months of the year in the Andaman Islands, India as a Scuba Diving Instructor. Therefore, I really do need to be able to communicate with my staff and potential students. At present it's not really necessary for me to able to actually teach diving in Hindi, as most Indian students I have speak very good English.
I am currently in the UK until beginning of January so would therefore be interested in an intensive course of some kind. I am quite happy to learn on a one-to-one basis or in a classroom environment with other students. I'm not really keen on learning online by email.
I work full time at the moment in Reading as a Legal Secretary, so would find it difficult to attend classes during the day. I wouldn't mind spending 2 or 3 evenings a week attending lessons, with the remainder of the week free to self-study or do homework. But as I only have 3 months, I am open to suggestions on how to spread the course.
I would really like a teacher who could teach me mainly conversationa l Hindi but also some reading and writing.

A fully equipped school teacher conversant of the current syllabus of ICSE and extensive method of teaching to score good marks and at the same time acquiring a good knowledge on the subject. The teaching method should involve regular teaching through writing. Planning and giving lessons to the student. Extracting the best from from the student through interactive study. Only giving notes will not be enough but framing questions and answers mainly objective in nature will be be required.

I just relocated to Bangalore from the US with my family. I would like Hindi lessons for me and my 2 children, ages 4 and almost 2. We currently speak only English. I would like lessons for 1-2 hours per week, in our home. I need a teacher who can work with young children and adults, and make the lessons fun for all. Our goal is to learn basic language, to communicate with those around us, and also learn about the Hindu culture.
