I am looking for a tutor in Sinhalese. My husband is from Sri Lanka and it would be nice to be able to learn the basics of the language, especially if we have children. I am coming into the language without knowledge of the alphabet, but with a few words.
I already speak French, Spanish and have leanrt Hungarian, in addition to being a native speaker of English. I can dedicate a few hours a week to learning the basics of Sinhala.
I am looking for a patient and kind teacher, one that knows when to speed lessons up or slow them down. I would appreciate the teacher is a native speaker, or fluent speaker, of Sinhalese with a good grasp of English - in order to explain grammar and structure appropriately .
