I want to have some private Mandarin lessons as I have studied it for a long time previously and I don't want to go backwards in my learning.
I speak/listen at about an intermediate level and feel that brushing up on my grammar and fixing up my vocab would be helpful. I want to spend about an hour or two hours a week on my chinese. My teacher must be patient and willing to go at my speed.

I'm interested to take private lessons in business mandarin as I feel it would be useful for my work. I work in finance and there are many technical terms and topics of conversation that I am not comfortable carrying out in Mandarin.
I would say that I am at an advanced level of proficiency as I have taken Mandarin as a first language till O levels. I also speak conversationa l Mandarin at home. However, I am still much more comfortable with English in general.
I am currently in between jobs so I am willing to commit 4 - 6 hours a week on lessons.
Looking for a teacher who is fluent in English, and can make lessons interesting. I need a teacher who is also familiar with business Mandarin, specifically economics and finance.

Hi my name is Megan and I am currently looking into learning a new language. I am interested in Chinese and Mandarin as I was told that it is quite widely known more so than Japanese.
Alot of my jobs have been in the tourism industry and I have found that sometimes there is a language barrier, Chinese is the language that I have found is most often used and I think it would be a huge bonus to me career wise, but most of all I like the idea of being multi-lingual .
I am more than willing to donate as much time as needed to my study and am quite excited at the prospect. I sometimes don't read things properly and have to focus quite strongly on what I am doing, mostly I am looking for a patient teacher who doesn't mind when I ask questions or ask them to repeat something.
