My daughter, Dr. Monika Dutt will be in Kolkata for 6 days starting from Nov 14, 2005. She needs to learn as much Hindi as she can within this time for future elective/NGO work as a physician - possibly in Jan/Feb. 2006. She needs private live lessons with as much intensity as possible to get a good start. Of course she will keep working on the language to achieve fluency. She is fluent in Spanish, French, bengali. I am sending this out as she is already on her way to Kolkata and I will inform her to follow up once I know if anyone is available.

I am a begnner that is extremely interested in learning hindi aswell as learning full Punjabi. I al learning Hind i because I have a bright future in Bollywood-the only problem is I cant speak full hindi right now. I am a beginner in Hindi knowing only some words and phrases. Currently I need to work on all aspects of my Hindi although writing is not so important to me. I am primarily interested in conversationa l Hindi for now. My reasons for learning this language are to better enjoy my times in India and to help me if I eventually live or work there.
An hour or two a week of tutoring would be sufficient for me. I am looking forward to having a teacher who will make the learning experience enjoyable and relaxed. Homework assignments and Hindi movie recommendatio ns would be appreciated.

My proficiency is beginner. I am a #1 bolliwood fan and I find hindi a very interesting languagel. I would like to have lessons twice or once a week and I am looking for someone who gives me an introduction of the language, basic rules for speaking and writting and from that point, moves to a more complex level. I would prefer a room course instead of private lessons.
