*I have one semester of beginning French language study at the university level, but that was many years ago. I am fluent in Spanish, so I am comfortable with the Romance languages.
*I would like to further my French language abilities because I am planning a work trip to Cameroon, Africa in January of 2006.
*I would most like to deepen my conversation skills with an emphasis on developing an authentic sounding accent.
*I would like two hours per week of private lessons.
* I would like to study with someone who would be willing to practice speaking with me in the context of restaurants, museums, theatre, and travel and intepersonal relationship customs that are particular the the Francophone world.

Hello, my name is danielle. I am looking to improve my lanugage proficiency in German and French. Here is my background for each language:
French
I lived in France for almost two years and went to school and worked au Credit Lyonnais a Paris. I have been back in the States for a year and a half and am quickly losing my French skills. I would like to have some with whom I can practice my French conversation, touch up on written grammar, increase my vocabulary, and improve my accent. I would like to commit a few hours each week to 're-learning' French.

I have always had a longing to learn German and took one semester in college my senior year. I understand basic grammar, but have a limited vocabulary. To begin, I probably need help with grammar and learning vocabulary with basic conversations to follow. I am willing to spend as much time as possible learning German. I would like to someday do an intensive German course for 3-4 weeks in Germany.
I would someday like to use either / both French and German for work and so hope to beomce proficient in each for the business world.
Reg arding qualities I look for in a teacher, I prefer someone who is a native speaker to help with the accent and give insights into the lifestyle and culture. This is my only preference.

I would be a beginner
I'm entering the seventh grade and I do well in english language arts and feel that with Latin lessons I could exceed. I wanted to take a Latin class at Sacramento State through the ATS but my language score was only 460 and I needed a 465 to get in. So my mom is willing to pay for private lessons if I can find someone.

My name is Megan and I am currently living in Paris and engaged to a Frenchman. I will be coming back to the States to prepare for an August wedding and will be staying in Sact. I have been taking classes at the Alliance Francaise and want to continue learning. The Sacramento schools schedule conflicts with mine so I thought about a tutor. I would be considered a begginner level 3, I have had two months of schooling. Im at the point of conjugating verbs into passe compose. Im understanding it well but am still having problems speaking. Im looking for 1 to 2 hours a week.

I am looking for a french teacher to teach my husband and I french. I took french in high-school- so I am still a beginner. My husband has never taken french. But, we would like to learn french so we can take an extended vacation in France next summer.
We would like to be conversationa l at least before next June. So, as far as teaching, that depends on many factors I suppose including our ability to pick up the language.
