I work for Dolce & Gabbana in Hong Kong and I believe learning Italian will benefit me in the future. I got a friend who wish to learn Italian as well.
We are both beginners. She might be able to speak a few lines in italian but she has never learn proper Italian. I know very little Spanish, not sure if that helps.
We both wish to learn enough Italian to be able to carry out a conversation.
We both work Mon - Fri till 6:30pm, and we are planning to take 2 classes a week, not sure how long one class usually takes.
I am looking for a teacher who is extremely friendly, speaks fluent English, has patience to break it down for us, and be strict sometimes.

We are a professional English married couple who are intending to live most of the year in Italy.
We speak some French but no Italian - so we're beginners!
W e are looking for 1-2 hours each week teaching in Italian so that we can 'get around' when we go to live in Italy. Obviously conversation is the most important to us.
We would like the teacher to be kind and understanding . If possible we would like the teacher to come to us (we live in Clyst St Mary, Nr Exeter) but if this is not possible then we'll meet the teacher wherever is convenient to him/her.

I would be starting as a beginner learning Italian. I would like to learn to speak the language so I can attend a culinary scholl in Italy.
