- at beginner level - want to learn basic grammar and vocabulary in order to construct sentences and comprehend conversations with people.
- Being settled here i realised it is an absolute necessary to interact with common people. Also, i would like to learn hindi for career advancement, as i plan to do job here sometime later.
- Being completely new, i feel i need to start first with the basic grammar and composition, and then slowly build up the vocabulary. I want to speak technically correct hindi and want to read hindi words properly.
- I would like to take on classes on weekday mornings, preferably around 10-11 time slot. Also i would like to go on a little slow paced track, if possible on thrice a week schedule. I believe in that way, i would be able to grasp the materials as well as work upon it on spare days.
- Should be systematic/me thodical in teaching, having clear understanding of the subject, and having study materials ready for practise. I want someone who can deliver in a logical manner, with the theme of every day's class very clearly defined. I think in that way i can be able to catch up pretty fast.
- Lady teacher at home preferred.

I have no experience but am DESPERATELY trying to find someone to teach me Hindi. I want to do aid work in India and possibly become a professional translator. This is my dream. I want to achieve a fluency level wherein I am able to understand and interact with my colleagues who are predominantly Hindi speaking.
