My name is Rebecca, I'm a high school student planning to learn a foreign tongue for my mandatory two year high school language credit. I'm learning not only out of necessity, but because I'd very much like to travel abroad at some point in my life, so I'd like to become as fluent as I can in speaking, writing, and reading each language. I'm looking for a long term teaching commitment.
I'm very much a beginner, as out of all of the languages listed, I've never had a class in any of them. I've got to start at the very beginning.
I would like to dedicate maybe an hour a week to learning, but that's negotiable as I have a fair amount of time free during the day due to large gaps between classes. I'm pretty much available any time after two pm, weekdays.
I would like a teacher that is flexible when it comes to teaching, as well as patient and responsive. Other than that, I'm not very picky.

I am currently in college and I am trying to get a gen ed for my foriegn language. My professor is not helpful outside of the classroom and in addition her tests are incredibly tough. I am struggling and I can not graduate from college without passing this class. I am taking the intermediate class in french . I will dedicate as much as my time a day to gaining control in the language that will allow me to feel comfortable in the classroom and in the final. I am looking for a teacher who knows very well french grammar and that will constantly test me on the topics. I am a very determined student.

I am a Masters I student at Paris-I La Sorbonne, but I have to come home to D.C. for a week of interviews. I will need someone to edit my paper on the nation-state and whether it still exists. This is a largely academic and high-level international affairs theory paper. Will you be able to meet with me during November 3rd or November 4th to work on this and is your French language knowledge specifically nuanced to this level and subject in terms of terminology?
